Daniel Oramas

Daniel Oramas is an award winning Director-Producer based out of Atlanta, GA. He has been fortunate enough to work internationally in Mexico, Guatemala, the US Virgin Islands, and Italy, directing teams in English and Spanish. A bilingual upbringing in a Cuban-Dominican household instilled a fierce passion for other cultures and languages, and an appreciation for how art conveys its own message that transcends every barrier. Although moving to the American South in the early 2000s was a culture shock, he grew to accept the y'all's, sweet tea, and southern hospitality with time and accept them as his own. He moved to Atlanta in 2014 to join one of the first waves of a surging film industry that has since become world-class. Although most at home in the director's chair, he is also an editor and cinematographer, with additional experience in most departments on set. His branded work for clients such as Lowe's, Home Depot, Belgard, Sakrete, Amerimix, and Restasis have reached online and broadcast audiences. His narrative shorts have screened across the world, picking up the Audience Award at the academy-qualifying Atlanta Film Festival in 2018, among many others.
